• It’s time to Fertilize: Fertilizing in the summer months is vital to a green and healthy lawn. The warm temperatures help the fertilizer seep deep into the roots of your grass, giving it the nutrients it needs to stay strong all season long.
• Get Rid of Lawn Pests: August is also a good time to get rid of any pests that might be bugging your lawn. Lawn pests can cause serious damage to your grass, and getting rid of them now will help ensure a healthy lawn all season long.
• Aerate Your Lawn: Aerating your lawn helps to improve drainage and allows vital nutrients and water to reach the roots of your grass.
